At a special event hosted by Life in Iowa on Wednesday, January 22, from 4-5 pm in 1117 University Capitol Centre, learn how the Iowa caucuses work, their role in the process of electing the next president of the United States, and how domestic and international students can participate.

Professor David P. Redlawsk
David P. Redlawsk is a visiting professor at the University of Iowa, where he is teaching a class on the Iowa caucuses. He is the co-author of the book Why Iowa? How Caucuses and Sequential Elections Improve the Presidential Nominating System (University of Chicago Press, 2010). 

The Life in Iowa program is an extended orientation series throughout the year that offers workshops on academics and other topics, cultural events, career information, and social events.
