UI students interested in studying abroad through the Irish Writing Program are encouraged to attend an information session on Monday, Sept. 15, 2014, at 5:30 p.m. in 108 English Philosophy Building.
The Irish Writing Program is a rigorous creative writing study abroad program requiring some talent, and especially commitment and discipline. Its goal is to help aspiring writers become better at their craft.
Martin Roper, academic director of the Irish Writing Program, will give a short presentation and answer students' questions about the program.
Students are also encouraged to visit the annual Study Abroad Fair on Tuesday, Sept. 16, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the University Capitol Centre second floor.
No pre-registration is required to attend these event.
