Do you receive a Pell Grant? Are you interested in expanding your global perspective by studying or interning abroad? Please join International Programs for one of several information sessions to discuss the process of applying for a Gilman Scholarship

The Gilman Scholarship, funded by the U.S. Department of State, aims to encourage eligible students (U.S. citizens, undergraduates, Federal Pell Grant recipients) pursuing academic credit-bearing, study/intern abroad programs outside the United States.

Our staff will introduce you to the Gilman Scholarship application process, share insights offered through the website, and provide strategies for preparing competitive essays.

Applications are now being accepted for the Summer 2018 and Fall/Academic Year 2018-19 sessions.

Upcoming info sessions:

  • Monday, February 5 | 1 – 2 p.m.

  • Wednesday, February 7 | 11 a.m. – 12 p.m.

  • Thursday, February 8 | 10 – 11 a.m.

  • Monday, February 12 | 10 - 11 a.m.

All sessions will be held in 1117 University Capitol Centre (International Commons).
