UI graduate Alex Bare reflects on his global experiences as an undergraduate

UI graduate Alex Bare sat down with International Programs recently to talk about his Critical Language Scholarship program experience in Oman and his study abroad experience in Bolivia. Bare's international journey continues, as he is currently in Colombia as a result of receiving a Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship Award.

Critical Language Scholarship winner to study in China

University of Iowa Chinese language and literature and accounting major Alex Duff of Volga, Iowa, has been awarded a 2018 U.S. Department of State Critical Language Scholarship (CLS). Duff will head to China this summer for an intensive language and cultural immersion program at the College of Humanities & Sciences of Northeast Normal University in Changchun.

Students embark on adventures abroad
