Interested in learning Taiji? Join the Confucius Institute for a free, five-week class!

Learn how to enhance your overall health through increased flexibility, relaxation, and stress control. Practice fundamental Taiji movements under the instruction of Haiming Chen, an experienced Taiji trainer who has led classes in China, Japan, and the U.S. for more than 20 years.

Classes will meet October 21 to November 18, 2014, on Tuesday evenings from 6:40-7:40 p.m. in 1117 University Capitol Centre. Participants must be 13 years of age or older. No materials are needed but students should wear loose, comfortable clothing and light, flat shoes.

Registration and a waiver form are required and can be found along with more information at http://international.uiowa.edu/confucius. Please register by Oct. 21 prior to class time.
