Would you like to teach English, study, or do research abroad for an academic year at no cost? Join International Programs for the sixth-annual intensive Fulbright U.S. Student Program workshop on Friday, January 26, 2018, from 8:45 a.m. to 12 p.m. in 2520 University Capitol Centre.
Please join UI student Fulbright awardees, UI Fulbright Program Advisor Karen Wachsmuth, and UI Fulbright faculty mentors to learn more about opportunities to teach English, study, research, or do creative work abroad! Undergraduate juniors, seniors, recent alumni, and graduate students are eligible to start their applications this year, but first-year and sophomore students are encouraged to attend to consider preparing for future applications.
The workshop will include:
• Information session on why and when you should apply for a Fulbright
• Breakout sessions with expert UI Fulbright faculty mentors on writing proposals and personal statements in the humanities and STEM fields
• Panel and Q & A session with successful UI Fulbright student grantees
Space is limited, so please register early (feel free to sign up even if you cannot attend the entire workshop)!
