Hawkeye Lunch & Learn: Connecting Iowa to the Developing World

You are invited to the upcoming Hawkeye Lunch & Learn lecture titled Connecting Iowa to the Developing World, presented by H. S. Udaykumar, Professor of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering. This lecture is free and open to the public, however, an RSVP is encouraged.

This talk describes a project in developing countries that has global impact and involves undergraduates and faculty from across University of Iowa. It connects the problem of access to energy sources in the developing world, health of women and children, and global ecological and environmental concerns. H. S. Udaykumar has been working on this project for several years and will provide insights and future outlook on how Iowa students can participate in meaningful projects to help make the world a better place.
