Korean Movie Class
Time: 4:00-5:00 pm, Wednesdays, April 19 - July 12
Place: E105 AJB (Adler Journalism and Mass Communication Building)
The purpose of this course is to learn Korean language and culture through Korean movies. You will watch video clips from famous Korean movies and talk about Korean culture. You will also learn some Korean words and expressions.
Korean Calligraphy Class
Time: 5:00-6:00 pm, Thursdays, April 20 - July 13
Place: 313 PH
You will practice writing Korean characters beautifully with a brush. Calligraphy supplies will be prepared.
Korean Language Classes - Summer Semester (6 weeks)
These Korean language courses run for eight weeks and are open to anyone interested in Korean language and culture with any level of proficiency. Classes will be held from March 20 - May 12. Orientation for all classes (information and placement) will take place on May 19, 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. in 315 Phillips Hall, University of Iowa. No class will be held on Memorial Day (May29).
