Outbound Students
Congratulations, you have been accepted into a program and are going to study abroad! In a few months (or weeks!) you will embark on the adventure of a lifetime; however, there is much to be done before you go. It may seem overwhelming now but remember that you can always stop by the study abroad office with your myriad of questions! Check out this section of the web to understand things you should do before going abroad and make sure you plan on attending our pre-departure orientation session for students going abroad in the winter and spring.
Pre-departure Orientation Sessions Announced
TIPS for Students Traveling Abroad will be held on Saturday, December 5th, from 12:45-4:30 p.m. in the Pappajohn Business Building, room W10. This orientation is mandatory for UI students who will study abroad during the spring 2010 session.
Several optional orientation sessions are offered in conjunction with TIPS. They are:

Thursday, December 3rd, 5:00-6:00 in 2520D University Capitol Centre
Traveling Around South America
Thursday, December 3rd, 5:00-6:00 in 1124 University Capitol Centre
