Social Work Travel Study Seminar in Mexico:
Elders, Children, and La Familia Latina
Tenative travel dates to Mexico: August 3-14, 2008
(Note: actual seminar activities will begin June 13 and end September 19, 2008)
The Travel Seminar to Mexico will give students an opportunity to earn 3 s.h. of credit while learning about elders or children in Mexico, and the role of family and social services in providing care for these vulnerable groups. This is also an opportunity to learn about Latino culture and life in Mexican cities and towns. Social Work (BA and MSW) students and Aging Studies students are especially encouraged to apply.
