Forms and Procedures for Students Traveling Abroad with Faculty
Students traveling abroad under the auspices of the University of Iowa are required to register their travel with Study Abroad, and to submit paperwork pertaining to health, safety, and liability issues, including a photocopy of their passport. They are also required to purchase the Regents International Health Insurance plan and will be automatically signed up for the coverage and billed for it. The cost is $1.15 per day.

For faculty traveling abroad with students:
The following form is to be completed by faculty leading groups of students abroad for some purpose other than credit-bearing study abroad. The faculty form should be returned to Study Abroad a month prior to departure.
