International Programs Dean Downing Thomas presented the African Studies Faculty of the Year Award to Dr. Edward Miner during the African Studies Program fall Baraza/meeting with African Writers at the International Writing Program. Miner is the bibliographer for African, Middle Eastern, and South Asian Studies at the University of Iowa Libraries.
