The IP Grants Office can offer assistance with a variety of tasks associated with the grant process. As soon as you begin thinking about a proposal or project, contact our office to discuss how IP might support your efforts. We are interested in helping IP faculty and staff develop proposals for external funding in support of their research, teaching, and service goals, especially those related to the mission of International Programs. The IP Grants Office can also help faculty and staff identify appropriate sources of external funding for individual projects.
The IP Grants Office offers the following kinds of services to assist in the grant submission process
Given the number of people and programs the Office serves, at certain times of the year, we may be unable to accommodate those who have not contacted us early in the process. It is therefore strongly suggested that you contact the Grants Coordinator as soon as you have an idea about submitting an application. A firm timeline will be set for working on grant applications. Deadlines within these timelines must be met to ensure timely completion of the application.
The Office will do everything possible to facilitate the grant submission process, but it should be emphasized that while the Office assists in the process, it does not take primary responsibility for the grant.
Faculty are encouraged to contact the Grants Coordinator with any inquiries they may have.
