The Study Abroad office disburses over $300,000 in merit-based scholarships and need-based grants [1] each year. The Study Abroad Scholarship Committee reviews applications and selects the recipients of university-funded awards that support undergraduate study abroad, and may play a role as a “screening committee” for selected external awards.

The committee also advises the Director of Study Abroad and the Associate Dean of International Programs regarding 1) policy and procedural issues for the administration of existing scholarship programs and 2) recommendations for the establishment of additional scholarship programs supporting study abroad.
