Windstar FNTR (Foreign National Tax Resource) Tax Software is a web-based tax return preparation software program designed to assist international students and scholars in preparing U.S. federal income tax forms 1040NR and 1040NR-EZ.

Access to Windstar [1] is now available to current international students (F-1, J-1, or M-1) and scholars (J-1) and those who were present at the University of Iowa during the 2012 tax year.

To access the software portal, a current Hawk ID and password will be required. If you need assistance with your Hawk ID and password, visit ITS Hawk ID Support [2].
