A small fund has been established to assist financially needy students enrolled in the following UI-sponsored programs:

• Iowa Summer Program in Brazil

• ISEP Valparaiso Program (Chile)

• CIC Mexico Program

• CIC Dominican Republic Health & Nutrition Program

• Iowa Regents Hispanic Institute (Spain)

• Environment, Development & Culture in Oaxaca (Mexico)

• USAC programs in Chile, Costa Rica, Mexico and Spain

Minimum awards will be approximately $500; grants will rarely exceed $1000.  Applicants must be enrolled in a degree program at the UI, have submitted an application to one of the programs listed above, and demonstrate financial need.
