International Mondays takes place from 12-1 pm every Monday. In light of the Year of Public Engagement (2005-2006), the series moved to its current home, the Iowa City Public Library Meeting Room A.

The format of the event is that the guest speaker presents for 35-45 minutes and then there is time for a brief Q & A. Most speakers use visual aids (i.e., slides, overhead, video).

A free light luncheon is served, and the event is quite informal. Each week, our speakers' fascinating topics attract members of the academic community (students, faculty, staff) and of the Iowa City community.

For more information, or if you are interested in speaking at International Mondays please contact Amy Green, IP Outreach Secretary, at 335-1433 or e-mail: amy-green-1@uiowa.edu
