About Nicholas
Nicholas O'Brien joined UI International Programs in July of 2008 to work in Outreach. Nicholas is former UI grad who is currently working on his Master of Arts in Teaching specializing in Foreign Language Education. Prior to returning to Iowa, Nicholas lived in Japan for six years. While there he taught English as a second language at public junior high and elementary schools in the city of Nagoya.
In his free time Nicholas enjoys playing and listening to blues music, traveling, and attending international events in the hopes of meeting people from different countries and cultures.
