Life In Iowa
"Life in Iowa" is a program designed to assist and support international students adjusting to life and the academic system here in Iowa. The program, sponsored by the Office of International Students & Scholars (OISS) provides workshops, and social activities intended to increase understanding and integration of students within Iowa’s culture.
Café Central, a recurring event on the Life in Iowa annual schedule, encourages new international students to make friends and establish connections here in Iowa. We also encourage American students and returning international students to join us for refreshments, fun, and an opportunity to learn more about Iowa and the world!
