Current Students

There are approximately 2,200 international students representing over 100 countries enrolled at The University of Iowa.  Two hundred UI international graduates are currently pursuing post graduate practical training.

Advisors who are aware of the demands associated with studying and living in another country are available to assist international students and their families in matters related to their immigration status, employment, housing, academic issues, health insurance, medical care, social security, income tax regulations, financial aid, travel, and personal concerns.
