Your spouse and children (under age 21) are eligible to apply for J-2 visas and join you throughout your stay in the. U.S. All dependents must have their own immigration document - the DS-2019, which is available from OISS. J-2 dependents are eligible to apply to the Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration Services for work authorization after arriving in the U.S.
