Zubaidah Dahlui

Virtual Homecoming is a chance to share memories from your time at the UI and reconnect with your alma mater, regardless of where you are in the world. During International Education Week 2015 (Nov. 16-20), we will be sharing some of these alumni stories.

Zubaidah Dahlui hails from Bangi, Malaysia, which is a small town approximately twenty-five miles south of Kuala Lumpur. She graduated from the University of Iowa in 1987 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Economics and went on to earn an MBA from Kansas State University in 1989.

Zubaidah currently lives in Malaysia, where she works as principal assistant director at the Inland Revenue Board Malaysia. She has also been lecturing students about taxation at the Malaysian Tax Academy since 2002.

Zubaidah learned a lot both inside and outside of the classroom at the University of Iowa, and looks back on her experience at the UI with happy memories.
