MEMWS open house Nov. 2

Would you like to learn more about the Middle East and the Muslim World?  Stop by the Middle East and Muslim World Studies (MEMWS) program open house to find out how!

The MEMWS open house is an informal get-together where you can talk with professors, students and staff about:

- Study abroad opportunities in Morocco and East Africa
- Language Study (including Arabic, Turkish, Kiswahili and Indonesian)
-  The Middle East and Muslim World track in the International Studies major

Faculty in attendance will include:

- Prof. Vicki Hesli (Political Science)
- Prof. Jim Giblin (History)
- Dr. Edward Miner (University Libraries)
- Prof. Denise Filios (Spanish & Portuguese, & Resident Director of the Iowa Regents Arabic Program in Morocco)

Join us Tuesday, Nov. 2, from 5-6 p.m. in Room 2520D University Capitol Centre for this event. Following will be a talk, “Indonesia: Unity in Diversity,” at 6:30 p.m., presented by two Indonesia natives at the UI.
