Are you prepared to sell your study abroad experience in a job interview? Learn techniques to tie together your stories and experiences abroad with the skill sets employers are looking for at a hands-on career prep workshop with UI Study Abroad on Wed, April 1 from 7:00-8:30 p.m. in 1117 University Capitol Centre.

This event will feature a panel of hiring managers, study abroad returnees who have successfully landed a job, and a representative from the Pomerantz Career Center.

Several hands-on exercises will help you walk away feeling prepared to weave your study abroad experience into your resume, cover letters, and future interviews. Feel free to bring your resume to workshop!

This workshop is part of the Study Abroad Re-entry series and is sponsored by UI International Programs and the Pomerantz Career Center.

Individuals with disabilities are encouraged to attend all University of Iowa-sponsored events. If you are a person with a disability who requires an accommodation in order to participate in this program, please contact Sarah McNitt in advance at 319-335-0353 or sarah-mcnitt@uiowa.edu
