Borges Conference

The work of internationally acclaimed Argentine writer Jorge Luis Borges will be celebrated at the Inaugural Conference of the UI Borges Center, titled "The Place of Letters: The World in Borges," Wednesday, April 11, through Saturday, April 14 in the Old Capitol Museum.
The events are free and open to the public. This conference is a University of Iowa International Programs' Major Projects Grant funded conference.
The conference features scholars from around the world speaking about the work, life, and legacy of Jorge Luis Borges, one of the most famous Latin American writers of the 20th century.
