The International Studies B.A. and M.A. programs are interdisciplinary degree programs sponsored by International Programs. Our students develop an understanding of foreign cultures, focus on themes of global significance, and master the varied disciplinary approaches employed to study international issues.

The International Studies program office reopened Monday, June 23, after closing due to flooding in Iowa City. Students should call 319-335-0368 to make an appointment with the IS program office.
Important Deadlines
Monday, September 15, 2008: International Studies $1,000 Study Abroad Scholarship deadline for spring 2009 study abroad. Late applications will not be considered.
