Special Project Awards

Funded in part by the Stanley-UI Foundation Support Organization

Overview

Individuals, programs or departments are invited to submit requests for support (usually for up to $500) of special projects and events: visiting lecturers, speakers, film series, exhibitions, or other public activities that support international activities on campus. The strongest applications will demonstrate a high level of interest in the visitor or event by noting co-sponsorship and additional funding from other centers, programs, departments, and colleges.

Application Procedures

Requests are accepted at any time and should be sent by email or letter to:

Please include the following information:

  1. Name of speaker or nature of the public event
  2. Information about the speaker or about the principal participants and event organizers
  3. Event date, time, location, and title of event and/or presentation
  4. Reason International Programs is invited as a sponsor
  5. Total support requested from IP
  6. Total budget for the event and the amounts all other funding sources are contributing

Please Note:Please list International Programs as a co-sponsor on all brochures, flyers, and other publicity. The staff of International Programs' Office of External Relations will be happy to publicize your event on the International Programs Calendar.
