Historicizing 'Sustainability': Ecological Insights from the Past
In 2008-09 ENCIC will host a lecture series, “Historicizing `Sustainability’: Ecological Insights from the Past.” The series features four UI scholars: Julie Hochstrasser from the School of Art and Art History, Roland Racevskis of the Department of French and Italian, Joni Kinsey from American Studies and the School of Art and Art History, and beginning with a lecture by Eric Gidal, Department of English.
