Performance by the Department of Theatre Arts’ Darwin Turner Action Theatre Company of "Carnaval Time is Here For You And Me or How Hummingbird Saved Carnaval" and presentation of finished costumes that were created in carnaval workshops Friday–Sunday.
This event is one in a series of carnaval–related events on the UI campus. The final products of these sessions and workshops will be featured in – or serve as inspiration for – floats, costumes, props, masks, and puppets for the Iowa City Carnaval Parade in June 2013 during the Iowa City Arts Festival.
