International Programs (IP) strives to serve as a resource for students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community members through globally-engaging programs and activities.  We invite you to look through our Events Calendar and attend an upcoming workshop or event and browse through International Accents, our news source for all things international at the UI.

IP is home to several Campus & Community Programs, including several K-12 Classroom Programs for local students and teachers, IP’s monthly radio and television program WorldCanvass, and an annual celebration of International Education Week. Students can find helpful information in our Opportunities for UI Students section, which highlights some of the internationally-related Academic Programs on campus, multicultural Student Organizations, and a few specific programs, including the Friends Without Borders matching program and Global Mosaic living-learning community. IP is also home to the UI’s Peace Corps office.

Students, faculty, and staff will all find Intercultural Training programs to meet their needs, including Bridging Domestic and Global Diversity, Building Our Global Community, and Global@Iowa. After graduation, Alumni are encouraged to stay connected to IP and the University of Iowa. We invite anyone in the community to sign up for Volunteer opportunities.

IP also maintains a database of formal Linkages & Partnerships, showing the UI’s connections between our colleges with institutions around the world for research and exchange opportunities.
