Professor Chuanren KE
Professor Chuanren KE is the Founding Director of the Confucius Institute at the University of Iowa.
Professor KE is a professor of Chinese in the Department of Asian Languages and a professor of Second Language Acquisition in the Doctoral Program in Second Language Acquisition (FLARE) at the University of Iowa.
Professor KE holds a Ph.D. in Linguistics with a Ph.D. minor in Psychology from Indiana University at Bloomington and a BA in English from Beijing Normal University.
Professor KE is a certified ACTFL Oral Proficiency Interview (OPI) Tester Trainer and a certified ACTFL Oral Proficiency Interview (OPI) Tester of Chinese with the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages.
