Every year, International Programs - in conjunction with Study Abroad and International Student and Scholar Services - hosts a number of contests open to returning study abroad students as well as international students. Cash prizes will be awarded to the winners in each category. Winning submissions will be featured via social media and at a WorldCanvass event Friday, November 8, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. in the Old Capitol Senate Chamber. For Study Abroad students
The photo contest is open to UI students who have studied abroad while enrolled at the University of Iowa. Study abroad students should submit photos from their time abroad. This year’s contest features two categories. Students may submit to either or both categories. For more information on contest rules and for category descriptions, visit here.
The video contest is open to all UI students who have studied abroad. Students will be asked to submit a 90 second to three minute, documentary-style video focusing on their time abroad. For more information on contest rules and this year’s theme, visit here.
