This section contains links to human rights and related Internet resources that the UICHR staff, colleagues, and friends have found most useful in their daily work. We strive to include only sites containing high quality content likely to match the interests of our visitors. We welcome and all suggestions that can enhance this site. Currently we are in the process of reviewing and updating our lists of links.

Research Guides
Sites that provide collections of links to basic human rights materials, legal research, basic human rights protections, and the rights of specific classes of individuals.
Human Rights Documents
Primary Documents includes the UN Charter, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and other core global and regional international human rights instruments.
Document Archives includes the United Nations Treaty Collection and the documentary collections of the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, the Council of Europe, the Organization of American States, the African Union, and a comprehensive archive maintained by the University of Minnesota.
Human Rights Organizations
Inter-Governmental Organizations comprised of representatives from a cross-section of official bodies, such as the United Nations and the European Union. The links are further divided into those with a broad international focus, and those concentrated within particular geographic regions.
Non-Governmental Organizations are private organizations that pursue activities to relieve suffering, promote the interests of the poor, protect the environment, or undertake community development.
Academic Centers are human rights programs established within a university setting, either in the United States or abroad.
Human Rights Journals/Reviews
Some of these journals and reviews have open online access, while others have subscription-based or no online access.
Human Rights Topics
Child Labor includes links to sites that provide a basic overview of child labor issues, online news sources, legal resources, inter-governmental organizations, and non-governmental organizations.
Labor/Worker Rights includes links to organizations that focus on labor issues and worker rights on local, regional, and international scales.
