Calendar

The UICHR calendar features an up-to-date listing of events in a graphical calendar format that is easy to search and user friendly. The most exciting part of our new calendar format is that other human-rights groups and organizations can submit their events to be included. We think the potential to have all human rights-related events and activities in the Iowa City area, whether sponsored by community or university groups, is a tremendous opportunity for all of us to reach the largest possible audience.

How to submit events

On the UICHR calendar page, click on the Add Event button at the top right corner of the calendar. A form will open where you can enter all the relevant information about your event -- title, date, time, location, etc. You will also include a contact name and e-mail address that will appear in the listing. Once you click the Submit Event button, your event won't show up immediately. It will be sent to UICHR staff to review. Once it's approved, it will appear in the calendar.
