Bridges to Prosperity
This summer Ian will be working with Bridges to Prosperity to build a pedestrian bridge that he helped design over the 2012-2013 school year. Ian has been instrumental in implementing the planning and management of the project and brings a great deal of leadership experience as well as extensive knowledge of the Spanish language. Ian will travel frequently between the community and city of Matagalpa to accommodate supply demands. This bridge will be connecting a community of over 200 people to hospitals and clinics, schools, and markets. The location is going to be in Jicaro and Piedras Grande communities in Matagalpa, Nicaragua.
