Salsa Vibe headlines 2013 Gusto Latino

The annual Latin dance event Gusto Latino will return to the University of Iowa Friday, April 19, for a night of dance lessons, live music by Salsa Vibe, and food. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. at Old Brick, 26 E Market St. Iowa City, and admission is $5 for adults and free for students and children.

Salsa Vibe is a collaboration of some of central Iowa’s finest musicians determined to see live salsa grow in Iowa. Up to 12 musicians strong, Salsa Vibe explores the vast array of Latin rhythms and musical styles from South America, the Caribbean, and New York City.

This event is sponsored by International Programs, the Office of Residence Life, University Housing & Dining, the Center for Student Involvement and Leadership, and the Coca-Cola Support Program.
