Show Us the World

Fifty-six students entered photographs in the “Show Us the World Through Your Eyes” photo contest for International Education Week 2007. Entrants submitted images from either the perspective of an international student studying abroad or from the perspective of a U.S. student studying abroad.The photo contest is sponsored by the UI Office for Study Abroad (OfSA) and the UI Office of International Students and Scholars (OISS).

Both contests are co-sponsored by International Programs.To view an audio slideshow of some of the photos that are part of the "Show Us The World Through Your Eyes" exhibit and to hear insights about the importance of study abroad from Janis Perkins, the director of the University of Iowa Office for Study Abroad, and Rachel Bender, a UI student who studied abroad in Ecuador.
