The Global Health Studies Program (GHSP) invites applications from undergraduate and graduate students for a $500 award to attend a U.S. or foreign global health conference or meeting during calendar year 2015. All currently registered undergraduate and graduate University of Iowa students may apply, but preference will be given to students in the GHSP certificate program. Two awards will be given: one to an undergraduate student and one to a graduate student. Students need not be U.S. Citizens to be eligible.

Students admitted to the Global Health Studies Certificate program who are pursuing an independent research project for their international experience are strongly advised to apply for an undergraduate or graduate Stanley Award.

Students studying abroad are encouraged to apply for UI Study Abroad undergraduate scholarships or graduate fellowships.

Students pursuing other international experiences such as internships or service learning are encouraged to visit the International Experience webpage on the Global Health Studies site.
